Our 6 bedroom Guesthouse is immaculately clean and pleasantly furnished. Choose from king-size, double, family and twin bedrooms with garden and village views.

Adults and children alike will find their favourite spot to walk, cycle, paddle or just relax with a good book and a glass of wine. You set the pace!

We feel so honoured when guests choose us for their stay in Hutton le Hole. We work hard to ensure your stay is just perfect and we’re on hand should you need anything.

Our Location

The Barn Guesthouse is nestled in a rural countryside setting in the heart of North Yorkshire. A 5 minute’ walk to the region’s best hiking and cycling trails and within an hour’s drive, visit the region’s historic towns and monuments.

You’ll find everything you need to enjoy your holiday here in Hutton le Hole with our own Tearoom serving light meals and snacks during the day and the local pub serving evening meals.  The nearby town of Pickering offers local stores, food market and a selection of restaurants, coffee shops, cafes and bars.

You will need a car to get around the area and make the most of your holiday.

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations are confirmed on receipt of your reservation by email or by phone. Bookings must be paid by acceptable and valid credit card, bank transfer or by cash.

All published rates include VAT where applicable (and local taxes) at the current rate.
Rates are per room per night. If you have selected supplements they will be added to the total price of the booking.

Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change.

The minimum stay to qualify for the best rates is two nights. One night weekend stays are at our discretion, so please contact us directly for consideration.

We currently operate a Covid-Cancellation Policy. If you are unable to travel due to Covid restrictions we will give you the opportunity to book a date in the future or we will cancel your booking and refund the full amount. For our standard cancellation policy please get in touch and we will provide our terms and conditions.
We welcome well-behaved dogs.
We welcome children to our accommodation and provide a high chair and cot on-site.
We can sometimes be flexible on arrival and departure dates and times. If you are unable to select the dates you would like in the calendar please contact us.
Check-in is between 2pm – 7pm and check-out is at 10am. Late check in can be arranged by prior arrangement.
Yes, we provide free Wifi although during busy times of the day it can be slow
Kirkbymoorside is 5 minute drive away. You will find supermarkets, bakeries, post office and the medical centre.
Thank you for asking! Yes, we do. Muddy boots and muddy dogs are very welcome, however, treading mud through the house makes extra work for us when you leave. We really appreciate that you leave your muddy boots and all muddy items at the door. We can provide an outdoor hose, newspaper and bags for wet boots. Dog towels available on request.
