Caroline and Gareth

A big warm welcome to Hutton le Hole from ourselves – Caroline, Gareth, Kali and Skye. Caroline is a Yorkshire lass, born and bred, whilst Gareth is originally from Suffolk but now calls Yorkshire home. The Barn is a traditional Yorkshire bed and breakfast and has been our home for almost a decade. We’ve over thirty years of hospitality experience so you couldn’t be in better hands.

Working with our friendly team we are both actively involved in the day-to-day running of The Barn. You’ll find us cleaning rooms, baking cakes and cooking breakfast plus sharing our local knowledge to ensure you get the most out of your stay. Along-side six en-suite room we have a licensed tearoom serving freshly baked cakes and savouries. 

We both enjoy walking our dogs in the local area or heading to the spectacular Yorkshire coast for a beach stroll. We offer a relaxing stay in the heart of the North York Moors which is beautiful in any season. With our picturesque village location The Barn is the perfect place for walkers, cyclists and explorers. We are located less than a fifteen-minute walk from North Yorkshire’s stunning heather moorland and less than a ten-minute drive from Blakey Ridge on Wainwrights Coast to Coast.
